CPD requirements for occupational therapists
What the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia's CPD registration standard asks of a occupational therapist with general registration, and how VitalCPD keeps your records ready for an audit.
What the Board requires
- At least 20 h of CPD each registration year (this one: 1 Dec 2025 – 30 Nov 2026).
- At least 5 h of it interactive.
- A portfolio of your learning goals, planned activities and reflection.
- Interactive means a two-way flow of information with other practitioners, face to face or online.
Registered part-way through the year? Your hours may be less (pro-rata). Work out your own hours.
